hiking, cycling and horse-riding in the beautiful hilly

time seems to be standing still. Even early in spring there is so
much sun and the temperature is wonderful. It is wonderful to be
outdoors until late October.

box-spring beds, spacious shower, well-equipped kitchen and a

The beautiful old towns Gourdon, Sarlat, Figeac and
Rocamadour have much sightseeing and many little restaurants. The
caves of Lascaux, Pech Merle
and Padirac are absolutely impressive. And the weekly markets in
the surrounding villages present a choice of regional
specialities such as walnut cake, Cahors wine, fresh champagne
bread, truffles, foie gras and many special types of French
cheese.
